W.A. Universities Foundation Program

Program Details
The Western Australian Universities' Foundation Program (WAUFP) is conducted by Canning & Tuart Colleges in Perth. It is a one year academic foundation course designed for students interested in meeting the requirements of university entry. It has been designed in partnership with Perth's four government universities to provide successful graduates with a guaranteed place in their desired university program.  It is ideally suited for students wishing to gain entry into university degrees in academic (non-TAFE) areas such as medicine, law, pharmacy, psychology, veterinary science, dentistry, education etc. For other course disciplines a diploma program offered through TAFE is generally the preferred pathway as these courses are more practical, less expensive and lead to second year university entry.
