Description »
The Advanced Diploma of Tourism Management (Event Management) provides students with fundamental skills to work in the tourism and events sectors. It also offers a sound business education. The course covers the general responsibilities of an event or meetings manager who may be responsible for the organisation and management of events. This person may operate from a convention centre, hotel or theatre or be an external independent event organiser or meetings manager. The course focuses on the application of principles and practices relevant to tourism management and event management.
