About Us

Milton College was originally founded in Hong Kong in 1932. It was established in Sydney in 1990. It is accredited with NEAS and is a member of the ELICOS Association. Milton College has a sister school in Taipei which was established in 1949 and is teaching English to this day.

TOEIC Preparation Course - 8 weeks full time

Milton's Test Of English for International Communication® Preparation Course helps students learn the skills needed in order to achieve a high TOEIC® score. Students learn vocabulary, grammar and test-taking techniques essential for TOEIC®. Students have the opportunity to improve both their listening and reading comprehension skills during the morning lessons. Afternoon lessons focus on speaking and writing. Students will do 1 full-length practice TOEIC® test each week.
Learning Outcomes:

  • Be knowledgeable of test taking techniques specific to TOEIC®
  • Understand and be able to work within time restrictions
  • Identify misleading information in listening/reading sections of TOEIC®
  • Learn 600 key TOEIC® words and 20-25 essential English grammar structures
  • Become familiar with business idioms/phrasal verbs tested in TOEIC®
