The Summer STEP course is scheduled during the summer and follows the same dates as the J-STEP and K-STEP. Summer STEP is a 3.5 hour/day grammar and conversation based course for Beginning Level students. There is no placement test, all Summer STEP students study at one level. Classes are Monday to Thursday, with two sessions a day: 9:00-12:30, 1:00-4:30. Students study in ONE session, not both. IIE does not guarantee placement in either the morning or afternoon session.
This course offers parents of J-STEP and K-STEP students a chance to study English at the same school and time as their children. The Summer STEP Course teaches basic grammar and functional conversational English such as: Travel English, Restaurant English, Going to the Doctor, Hotel English, Talking to the Teacher, etc.
