About Us
EAL UK offers students a unique language experience. Half of a student’s day is spent learning English, while the second part of their day requires them to use their new skills to participate in the activities. The EAL UK course aims to provide our students with English language skills that are useful in everyday situations as well as for academic use. Full immersion is the evident best way to improve a student’s understanding of a language. For this reason, the English language is used throughout their stay in the adventure activities, day trips and evening events.Structure
EAL UK provides every student with12-15 hours of English lessons per week. The course follows a syllabus that is designed to develop the four main skills of:
- Reading - by completion of the quiz during the day trip
- Writing - by completion of daily journal
- Listening and Speaking - by participating in the adventure and evening activities
- General Conversation - by communicating with the centre staff
