St James College
St James College is a member of a member of Group Colleges Australia, which is a consortium of educational institutions including Metro English College,and Central College (offering Vocational Education).Our aim is to provide senior secondary education to students wishing to complete the NSW Higher School Certificate in a safe, suppotive and multicultural environment.
About Us
Even if all High Schools in Australia are regulated about accepting international students by government, St James College is accredited to house both local and international students. In Term 3 2007, we marked the first full academic year of using Moodle, which in combination with Smartboard technology has changed the face of teaching and learning at St James College. We have, through implementing this technology, created a strong and supportive learning framework for our students.Courses
Location
St James College is located at very near Redfern railway station, and you can go to Central, which is the biggest railway station in Sydney on foot within few minutes.Since Sydney is a vibrant city, situated with nearby beautiful Darling Harbour and some great shopping centre, overseas students can enjoy diverse Australian life.
Accommodation
We recomment two types of accommodation;-Homestay
It's suitble for students under the age of 18 due to Australian law. Homestay is beneficial to experience real Australian life with a Australian family and get oppotunity to improve English skills.
-Share Accommodation
It's possilble for students over the age of 18. It has a merit when it comes to giving students freedom.
