The Diploma of Remedial Massage incorporates the Certificate IV in Massage Therapy Practice. These courses will equip you with comprehensive skills and knowledge to work as a remedial massage therapist.
Diploma of Remedial Massage students will study how to assess a client's needs to plan and conduct a remedial massage using a range of soft tissue massage techniques based on knowledge of anatomy, physiology and pathology.

You will also learn to work safely and ethically in health care and wellness environments, to communicate effectively with clients and other health care workers and how to operate your own massage practice.

The Diploma in Remedial Massage includes human anatomy and physiology, nutrition, pathology, business practice and client communication, as well as massage theory and techniques.

Graduates of the Diploma of Remedial Massage course can look forward to a rewarding career performing unsupervised massage therapy.

After completing the course graduates can apply for registration with the Australian Association of Massage Therapists (AAMT).
