About Us

Milton College was originally founded in Hong Kong in 1932. It was established in Sydney in 1990. It is accredited with NEAS and is a member of the ELICOS Association. Milton College has a sister school in Taipei which was established in 1949 and is teaching English to this day.

Preliminary English Test (PET) Preparation - 11-12 weeks full time

Milton College offers preparation for the Cambridge Preliminary English Test (PET). The course prepares students for the Cambridge exam in eleven or twelve weeks depending on the date of enrolment.A PET certificate as a proof of English proficiency is very helpful when looking for employment The Milton Cambridge PET preparation course prepares students to do the exams well. This is done by training the students to understand the exam structure, the expectations of the examiners, and the language and time needed for each section of the exam.
Learning Outcomes:

  • develop test-taking techniques specific to PET
  • develop the ability to produce different written text types
  • improve their listening, reading skills for a variety of text types
  • improve their ability to produce different spoken text types
  • develop a greater awareness of word families and word formation
  • develop the ability to analyze texts grammatically and to transform sentences so as to express the same meaning in a different form.
