Postgraduate Diploma of Behaviour ManagementThe focus of the program is on providing students with professional training and practical competencies for working with children, adolescents and adults experiencing moderate to severe behavioural disorders. Professional OutcomesThis course is a stand-alone qualification as well as a valuable adjunct to other careers, specifically in the fields of education and disability, and will be particularly beneficial for class room and learning support teachers. Students who wish to combine studies in Counseling and Behaviour Management can also undertake the Double Postgraduate Diploma in Behaviour Management and Counselling. Entry requirementsCompletion of an approved undergraduate degree. Work Experience and InternshipsPracticums are an integral part of this program. Students will work within a selected educational or disability support setting for a total of 200 hours and will write one detailed case report based on the assessment and treatment of one client following the guidance presented in the pre-requisite subjects. AttendanceMost students undertake three subjects per semester (equivalent to 30 credit points). You may, however, enrol in fewer subjects and extend your degree over a longer period. Bond's Teaching methodology involves a combination of lectures, tutorials, seminars, examinations, projects, presentations, assignments, computer labs and industry projects.
