Description »
The Gordon’s Diploma of Outdoor Recreation offers extensive high quality training in various outdoor activities. The course is designed for people who wish to either pursue a career as a professional outdoor instructor or receive professional instruction in a range of different activities.
Activities studied include bushwalking, rock climbing and abseiling, sea kayaking or scuba, challenge ropes, wilderness first aid and snorkeling.

There is a significant lifestyle and financial commitment to successfully complete the requirements of this qualification.

Students wishing to exit the course at the end of the first year will receive a Certificate IV in Outdoor Recreation.

Certificate IV in Outdoor Recreation and the Diploma of Outdoor Recreation graduates may pursue a range of career options including outdoor adventure guiding, outdoor adventure instruction, outdoor education instruction, outdoor adventure therapy, corporate outdoor training and adventure tourism.
