NSIA became the first private training establishment in North Shore City to deliver professional Diploma and Certificate programmes in the field of hospitality. NSIA has designed the courses to provide a flexible timetable allowing for its candidates' busy lifestyles, blending recreation, study and employment. NSIA is NZQA Registered and Accredited and NZ Culnary Fare Training Excellence Award Winner in 2006.

National Certificate in Professional Cookery Level 4 - 40 weeks (1 year)

This course recognizes the competence, skills and knowledge required of chefs with some experience who are involved in cooking non routine dishes with flair and creativity in a commercial kitchen.

  • Complex Soups and Sauces     
  • Complex Vegetables, Meat and Egg dishes
  • Complex Fish, Pasta, Pastry and Dessert Dishes
