Master of ManagementProgram summary Program overview The Master of Management provides graduates with an in-depth understanding of general business management principles and their application both locally and globally. Students are given the opportunity to specialise in a particular area of business management that will allow them to develop specific skills to succeed in today's job market. Students develop the capability to manage business organisations on a local level as well as regionally, internationally and globally. Subject areas in this graduate degree program range from Strategic Management and Human Resource Management to the wider arena of Business Law and Ethics, and Innovation and Entrepreneurship. This program is designed as a stepping-stone for those looking to break into the world of Business Management. Upon completion students are able to apply management and business theory in a modern business situation. The degree will advance your level of attributes in:
Admission requirements A Bachelor's degree from a recognised higher education institution.. Applicants whose first language is other than English must demonstrate an appropriate level of English proficiency by providing evidence of one of the following required qualifications:
Advanced standing Students with an undergraduate degree No advanced standing will be granted to students with an undergraduate qualification. Students with postgraduate qualifications Students who have completed equivalent postgraduate courses elsewhere may apply for advanced standing up to a maximum of 50 percent for the Master of Management, Graduate Diploma in Management and the Graduate Certificate in Management. The content of the courses would need to overlap the University of the Sunshine Coast course content by least 70 percent. Program requirements Students are required to successfully complete 12 courses as specified in the Master of Management program structure. International students wishing to study on campus must study full-time and are required to complete four courses from those listed for each session of enrolment.
