The program involves a substantial thesis that is based on rigorous empirical research within a sound conceptual framework drawing on an established literature. Program structure The Master of Information Technology requires the successful completion of the Research Methodology course, one postgraduate elective in the chosen area of research and a research thesis. Candidates must achieve at least a Pass level in each coursework element to be eligible to commence the research thesis. Overall assessment for the award of the degree will then be based solely on the examiners’ assessment of the candidate’s research thesis. Notes
