Master of Engineering Technology (Mechanical Engineering)Duration (International) 1.5 years Assignments, design problems, examinations and thesis. This is a design orientated course that provides students with the knowledge and skills that are necessary to obtain employment as an engineer and to be admitted as a Member of Engineers Australia. The course also serves as a preparation for further graduate studies in technology, business administration and other areas. Specifically the course provides students with advanced studies in Mechanical Engineering. A degree in Mechanical Engineering enables a graduate to gain employment in a range of industries including manufacturing and processing industries, which are aiming to lead the way in new developments in automated machinery. Additionally graduates may gain employment as consulting engineers. RPL and Credit Transfer International students wishing to apply for RPL and Credit Transfer are required to provide syllabus of previous study undertaken at time of applying for course. Not all courses offer RPL and Credit Transfer.
