Master of Education (MED)About the Course Applicants should note that the Master of Education is not a teaching qualification and is not suitable for those seeking a qualification to teach in the Northern Territory. Course Structure The Master of Education program is designed to meet the professional learning needs of educators in school and non school settings, including VET and early childhood education and care services. The course offers opportunities to negotiate a personalised learning pathway suited to the specific needs of the educational or professional context. The course has a research track for students seeking to better understand contemporary educational research or later enrolment in a research degree. A candidate must successfully complete units totalling 80 credit points. Career Opportunities Graduates may seek employment as project directors, curriculum specialists or educational consultants.
