Minimum duration: 1 year full-time or equivalent part-time.
The Master of Education (Coursework) course is designed for graduate students interested in pursuing a broad academic study of education. It provides studies in a range of academic areas, including Career Development, Early Childhood, Information and Communication Technology, Literacy, Mathematics Education, Pastoral Care Leadership, TESOL, and Wellbeing in Inclusive Schooling. Up to three approved units may be taken from the Master of Educational Leadership, Master of Religious Education and Master of Education Studies (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) courses. Students will be encouraged to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of recent research, and/or professional developments related to their program of study. They will be offered opportunities to engage and interact with other students from diverse professional backgrounds.
English Language Requirements
Applicants require IELTS 6.5 as well as a first degree in Education or a first degree in an area other than Education and a Graduate Diploma in Education.
