About the course
On completion of the course graduates will be able to:

• detail and critically evaluate the fundamental doctrines, principles and features of regulation, including design, implementation and enforcement
  
• critically evaluate how sources of corporate governance codes, in both rules and principle based jurisdictions impact on regulatory capability
  
• demonstrate critical knowledge and understanding of a wide range of legal concepts, values and principles and to explain the relationship between them in the field of financial governance
  
• understand and critically discuss the wider socio-legal context in which corporations and the markets in which they operate are governed
  
• detail and critically discuss the fundamental doctrines, principles and features of compliance design
  
• explain and evaluate how internal systems of control are developed and enforced.
