Master By Research (Lba) (MRSLBA)
About the Course
A candidate for the degree of Master by Research shall undertake a program of study and research approved by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research). The program shall include the presentation of a thesis and/or other work approved by the Committee, embodying the results of the candidate's study and research, for examination.
A supervisor or supervisors shall be appointed with the approval of the University. Subject to the general direction of the Dean, supervisor(s) will provide direction and advice to the candidate.
Applicants into this course are required to provide: referees reports, research proposal outline (400-600 words), certified academic transcripts and other supporting documentation.
Admission Requirements
You must have completed the equivalent of an Australian Bachelor degree with second class Honours, or other qualifications and/or experience equivalent to this degree.
If you are a domestic student applying for a Masters or PhD program and/or a Scholarship, you will need to attach:
- A scholarship application form
- Two referee reports
- Certified photocopies or a printout of supporting documents including all units/subjects with grades for qualifying degrees
- Research proposal

The Master by Research (LBA) is for students interested in researching topics relevant to the Faculty of Law, Business and Arts.

A candidate must successfully complete a total of 240 credit points.
