Choosing the right pathway from school to university is an important decision as it will shape your future career.

Courses

Location

The campus is centrally placed near other educational institutions and close to public transport, with a bus right at the front door.

Brisbane is the booming capital city of Queensland. It boasts a warm, sunny year round climate ranging from an average of 9 degrees Celsius (°C) in winter to 32°C in summer.

The outdoor lifestyle reflects the city’s climate—there’s a vibrant al fresco café scene, picturesque riverside parklands and plenty of water sports on offer. You can enjoy a busy arts and cultural scene or visit unique Australian wildlife parks.

From Brisbane, it is just an hour’s drive to the spectacular beaches of the Gold or Sunshine Coasts, or a short drive inland to the lush rainforest or farming areas.

Accommodation

Homestay

Families and accommodation are carefully selected to provide a home away from home for students. These are usually located close to the campus or in the suburbs. Our staff match students to families with similar interest, always ensuring a safe supportive family environment. Students have their own room or can share with other students. Host families provide two meals per day; packed lunches can be arranged at a small fee. Assistance is given with basic needs, such as laundry and cleaning.

Private Accommodation

If students over 18 years of age do not wish to live in homestay, they can choose from the many other independent accommodation options in close proximity to our City Campus:

University Lodge Accommodation
Private Apartments
Share house/units

Our staff will assist you to find accommodation should you require assistance.

Homestay housing is available for all students. For students under 18, as John Paul College assumes responsibility for the welfare of the students who have been issued with a visa to enter our College, we reserve the right to agree all housing organisation.
Students not living with their parents or nominated relative have to be in a registered John Paul International College housing as per Public Interest Criterion 4012A and visa condition 8532, which govern care orders for student visa applicants/holders who have not turned 18 years of age.
