Information Technology Foundations (Certificate II)This introductory course provides students with the fundamental knowledge and skills needed to operate computers and essential applications (e.g. Windows, internet, email). Electives can include word processing, spreadsheets, databases, presentation software and basic web design.

General Entry Requirements and Pre-requisites Entry into this course requires the equivalent of Australian Year 10 with passes in English. What You'll Learn in Each Course This course provides students with the fundamental skills and knowledge to operate the essential and common software applications on a computer. Completion of this course will meet the entry requirements into any Certificate III in Information Technology. Career Outcomes Completion of this course provides graduates with the general computing skills essential to all information technology and office environments. Potential roles include office assistant or junior records management.
