WHAT IS THE IELTS TEST?

IELTS Preparation Program consists of two different modules: General Module and Academic Module. Both courses are designed to prepare students to undertake the IELTS English test. Intensive preparation for the test is the main purpose of the program. Full-time courses are available and the duration of the program is 10 weeks or ongoing. Students who wish to enroll in the program should demonstrate at least an intermediate level of English skills.

WHY SHOULD I DO THE TEST?

The test is used as an indicator of English language proficiency for entry into universities, TAFE (Technical, And Further Education) colleges, secondary schools in Australia, New Zealand, the U.K, Canada and English language medium universities in Asia, for example Singapore. Therefore if you are planning to go on to further study, do the test. IELTS is also used as a measure of language for immigration purposes.
