The Gordon’s hospitality courses will equip you with comprehensive skills and knowledge to pursue a career in various roles in the hospitality industry.
The Advanced Diploma of Hospitality Management incorporating Certificate IV in Hospitality (Supervision) provides students with skills and knowledge required to be a team leader or supervisor in all sectors of the hospitality industry. The course focuses on two main areas of hospitality operations – food and beverage service and supervision. Students who complete the first year of the Diploma will have satisfied the requirements for the Certificate IV in Hospitality (Supervision).

Major areas of study in the first year include food and beverage service, wine evaluation, bar work, cookery, stock control and front office reception work.

The second year of study has a focus on basic management including people management, financial management, resource management and function management.

Career prospects for graduates of the Certificate IV in Hospitality (Supervision) include working as a team leader/supervisor in a wide range of hospitality operations.

Advanced Diploma of Hospitality Management graduates can look forward to a breadth of employment opportunities including working as a food and beverage manager, a café or small restaurant owner or a motel owner/manager.
