Certificate III in Home and Community Care and Certificate III in Aged Care Work will equip you with comprehensive skills and knowledge to enter the aged care and community services sectors.
Certificate III in Home and Community Care and Certificate III in Aged Care are offered as a dual qualification or courses can be studied independently.

These courses offer hands-on experience with class theory and practice and also comprise fieldwork. You will study several community services practices, analyse issues affecting practice, develop new and appropriate approaches, demonstrate a commitment to ongoing quality improvements in the field, integrate theory with practice and extend and learn how to improve work roles.

With relevant industry experience, Certificate III in Home and Community Care and Certificate III in Aged Care Work graduates will be equipped for employment as an aged care worker, personal care worker, personal care assistant, personal care giver and community care worker. You will report directly to a supervisor and will not be responsible for other workers.
