About Us
Academia Language School was started by Joseph and Magda Alexander in Honolulu, Hawaii in 1969. Since then, Academia has raised to become the largest language institute on Hawaii. Academia teachers now gives lessons in over 25 different languages at our school, in corporate offices, and in government facilities.Group Tours
Academia offers English study tour programs to teens and other groups year-round. We will design a program specifically for your group, inclusive of custom English language training, accommodations, activities, meals, transportation, and a coordinator that can speak the groups' native language if desired.
We will create a custom course of English study that focuses on the areas of greatest interest to your group (such as conversation and Hawaiian and American culture). We will work with you to include many fun and safe Hawaiian activities that appeal to your group. And we will pay close attention to the details of the tour - such as by providing students Leis at the airport, providing them with quality learning materials that they can take home, and providing nice certificates of completion at the end of the program. We believe that creating a thoughtfully designed custom program and getting the details right makes for a truly memorable English study tour experience.
