Graduate Certificate in Training and Development
About the course The aim of the course is to prepare the student for managerial and specialised roles in training and development within the public and private sectors. On completion of the course it is anticipated that students will be able to:
- identify the environmental factors that affect the role and practice of training and development
- describe the theoretical bases of training and development activities
- recognise the relationship between training and development and other human resource functions, as well as its strategic contributions, and
- undertake core and expanded training and development activities utilising relevant resources effectively
Graduation requirements
To graduate students must satisfactorily complete 32 points (four compulsory 8 point subjects).
