Location
The Gordon Institute of TAFE is located in Geelong, the big city of Victoria and is situated 50 minutes away from the capital, Melbourne.Geelong is the entrance to the spectacular natural attractions, the famous Great Ocean Road and beautiful beaches of the Surf Coast. The Great Ocean Road starts from Torquay and winds along the Surf Coast to Lorne and beyond.
Lots of the popular names of surf wear and accessories are located here, with huge retail outlets at Surf City Plaza. Nearby Surf world Museum captures the spirit of surfing.
Geelong has quality facilities for the students, including a appropriate cost lower than average, central and suburban shopping areas, many kinds of restaurants, as well as cultural, recreational and sporting events and amenities.
Accommodation
If students are holding a Student Visa and are enrolled for a course of 20 weeks or more, accommodation arrangements are free. Students studying 10 to 19 weeks will pay AUD$ 250 for an arrangement fee. Accommodation arrangement service is not available for students studying less than 10 weeks.
