General English

Macquarie English offers general English courses from Elementary to Advanced. These courses are intensive and intended to get people using English quickly.  They are suitable for anyone who wants to learn English.

Students can enrol in these courses for as long as they like and whenever they want.  Classes run for four hours per day twenty hours per week.  They consist of a three hour main class and a one hour elective.  The year is divided into 12 week blocks with assessment in weeks 3, 6, 9 and 12.  At the end of the block, students move up to the next level and those who fulfil terms are given a certificate.
