General English

Our General English Courses focus on the English needed to survive in everyday situations.

Classes run throughout the year with all levels offered :

- Level I : Beginner / Elementary

- Level II : Lower Intermediate

- Level III : Intermediate

- Level IV : Upper-Intermediate

- Level V : Advanced

Students receive individual attention from qualified staff and are given the opportunity to improve their English in small, personal groups (maximum 12), in a caring environment.

Practical activities are used throughout the course to give students the opportunity to experience the language by actually participating in ‘real world’ situations.

ENGLISH CERTIFICATE – ‘AWARD’ COURSES

Language Links offers a range of ELICOS ‘Award Courses’. Our General English and Cambridge Exam preparation courses may be completed as ‘Award Courses’, giving our students the opportunity to complete their course of study with a nationally recognised certificate within the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) and making studying at Language Links a more valuable achievement.

Diploma of English Proficiency — ESL ( Course Code: 51766)

Certificate IV in English Proficiency — ESL (Course Code: 51765)

Certificate III in English Proficiency — ESL (Course Code: 51764)

Dates

-Full Time Day from 9am to 3:15pm - Monday to Friday

-Part Time Day from 9am to 12:20pm - Monday to Friday

-Full Time Evening Monday to Thursday from 4.30pm-8.30pm + 1 hour per day Research/Self-study AND Friday 3pm-5pm tutorials (full-time workload)

-Part Time Evening from 4:30 to 6:30 OR 6:30 to 8:30pm - Monday to Thursday + 1 hour per day Research/Self-study

-Start any Monday, minimum enrolment 4 weeks (you can study from 4 to 48 weeks)
