In 2002 Meridian accomplished third overall position in the New South Wales Higher School Certificate (HSC) and outperformed all private schools in HSC Mathematics. Meridian consistently outperforms other private schools in the University Admissions Index whereby scores of greater than 90 is recorded.General English
Students have their English language level tested on the first day at school to ensure that they are placed in the most appropriate class, The minimum age of study in the General English course is 14 years.
