English For Academic Purposes

MINIMUM ENROLMENT: 6 weeks
COURSE DURATION:12 – 24 weeks
COURSE HOURS: 20 hours per week
LEVELS: 2 Levels – Upper Intermediate and Advanced
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: Upper Intermediate level and above

Students who wish to enroll for EAP will have as their specific study objective to join a college or university for further study. The focus of an EAP course to develop the skills areas in English which will be required to study alongside native speakers in mainstream course areas.

EAP 1will meet English language requirements for colleges and other RTO private colleges offering VET (Vocational Training) courses. Students will need to reach a level consistent with 5.5 IELTS

Students entering the EAP course at level 2 will be seeking a pass at IELTS 6.0+ in order to enter a tertiary course of their choice. Students graduating from this course will have a level consistent with their achieving a level in IELTS, which are at least 6 for graduates of EAP2.
