Diploma of Nursing (Enrolled / Division 2 Nursing)
We offer CHC30102 Certificate III in Aged Care Work as a bonus course before you start the Diploma of Nursing program! This greatly enhances your chances of finding work in the growing field of Aged Care as a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) or an Assistant in Nursing (AIN), whilst you complete your Diploma studies.
The Diploma of Nursing (Enrolled / Division 2 Nursing) program provides students with the skills and knowledge to work as an Enrolled Nurse, including; communications, medications, clinical nursing activities, infection control and medical documentation and terminology.
The program includes unpaid clinical work experience and is recognised for credit transfer into undergraduate nursing Degrees at a number of Australian Universities.

Mode Of Study: Full Time
Duration: This program takes 24 months (104 weeks) to complete in Adelaide or 20 months (85 weeks) to complete in Brisbane.
Entry Requirements: IELTS 6.0 (Academic) or equivalent.
Minimum 18 years of age.
Completion of year 12 or equivalent (preferrably with a science subject).
Assessment Methods: Students are required to demonstrate competency and worksite placements are organised allowing students to complete these competencies.
Vocational Placement: This program includes 70 days (560 hours) of unpaid vocational placement.
Please note that the vocational placement is a compulsory component of this course and as such it will not contribute towards your work experience hours for migration purposes. There is also no guarantee of employment arising from this unpaid vocational placement.
Students will also be required to apply for a Federal Police Clearance at their own expense.

Accreditation This program is nationally recognised under the Australian Qualification Framework (AQF) and approved by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of South Australia (nmbSA) and the Queensland Nursing Council (QNC).
Articulation This program can provide graduates with up to one year’s credit towards a Bachelor of Nursing at an Australian University. Graduates of a Bachelor of Nursing program are eligible for registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a state nurses board.
