Diploma of Introductory Engineering StudiesThis one-year course provides an introduction to the fundamentals of engineering. It is useful for people who may need these skills in their existing work. It can also create a pathway for entry to any of the six majors in JCU’s Bachelor of Engineering. Subjects include foundation mathematics, computing for engineering, process engineering, and effective communication.
o Credit points: Represent the combined value of individual subjects in a degree. One subject usually constitutes three credit points.
