Diploma of Information Technology (Multimedia)

• Expected Employment Outcome Example: Certificate courses in this area equip graduates with knowledge of hardware equipment, software applications used in offices and provide practical business oriented skills. Diploma courses provide in depth training in a wide variety of choices including website development; maintenance and management; design, establishment and management of complex networks; systems administration and analysis; and design and development of applications programs. • Skills Covered:
  Broad range of technical multimedia skills including recording sound and editing sound using digital systems; integrating a database with a website; managing complex projects; ensuring privacy for users; 3D modelling; designing multimedia interfaces; incorporating video and sound into a multimedia presentation and website; and managing a multimedia production. A number of other specialised technical skills are taught. Please note: Some specialised subjects may differ between campuses and students may need to travel to another campus to complete the award.
