Diploma of Hairdressing Salon Management

To achieve the Diploma of Hairdressing Salon Management the following courses units must be completed. The units of competency offer breadth, depth and complexity covering planning and initiation of alternative approaches to skills across a broad range of technical and/or management requirements, evaluation and coordination.You will be able to direct a team and use you're in depth knowledge and skills in planning and selecting appropriate equipment, services and techniques. You will participate in developing strategic initiatives and take personal responsibility and autonomy in performing complex technical operations or organizing others. This will include participating in teams concerned with planning and evaluation functions as well as coordinating teams.
Duration: Two years full time, after completing the Certificate IV in Hairdressing or six months full time if seeking the management skill that this course offers only. Note; the Diploma on its own does not qualify you as a Hairdresser
