Diploma of Disability Work

This course is for people who are working, or who want to work, as a residential care worker, vocational trainer or social educator in disability support or advocacy work. It enables you to develop skills in coordination and management of agencies delivering services to people with a disability.
You will develop general skills and knowledge in the community services field, and learn about community development, service delivery and direct client work. You will also develop interviewing and counselling skills, behaviour intervention skills and overall care and support skills.
This qualification incorporates the Certificate IV in Disability Work, for those applicants who have already completed a
Certificate IV in Disability Work, you will be able to commence at the Diploma level.
