Diploma of Criminology

This unique program emphasises critical thinking and problem solving about criminological claims, evidence and arguments of particular relevance to tropical regions. Materials enable students to have both a broad and interdisciplinary understanding of criminology. Credit points are accumulated from criminology, sociology, Indigenous studies, law, forensic psychology, anthropology, archaeology and social work subjects.

The Diploma of Criminology can be undertaken full-time or part-time. It is designed for entry level to university before committing to a full degree and for professionals who wish to upgrade their credentials. On successful completion, students can graduate with the Diploma or receive academic credit towards the Bachelor of Arts (Criminology) or Bachelor of Social Sciences (Criminology) and/or other majors.
