This qualification reflects the role of individuals with substantial experience in a range of settings and who are seeking to further develop their skills across a wide range of business functions.

This qualification is also suited to the needs of individuals with little or no vocational experience, but who possess sound theoretical business skills and knowledge that they would like to further develop in order to create further educational and employment opportunities.

Modes of study

This course is delivered in a classroom and if applicable in practical based environment with practical requirements simulated to reflect the real work situation. The delivery of training will include a mixture of classroom theory, practical delivery, group discussions, and individual research.

Pathways into this qualification

This qualification is suitable for individuals who have:

  • some experience in industry but possibly without any qualification
  • BSB40807 Certificate IV in Frontline Management or other relevant qualification/s or
  • a need to gain formal recognition of their skills to improve their career pathways within the nominated industry sector.
