Diploma of Automotive Technology

The Diploma of Automotive Technology will teach students more advanced skills involved with working in the Automotive Retail, Service and Repair industry including analytical skills and team management skills.

Mode Of Study: Full Time 

Duration: This program takes 12 months (52 weeks) to complete.
 
Entry Requirements IELTS 5.5 (Academic) or equivalent.
Minimum 18 years of age.
Completion of year 12 or equivalent.
Completion of AUR30405 Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology (Light Vehicle).
 
Assessment Methods: Emphasis is placed on combining off-the-job training with on-the-job applications. Assessment can be carried out in simulated work environment, on-the-job or in the workplace or by negotiated project work.
 
Vocational Placement: This program includes 30 days (240 hours) of unpaid vocational placement.

This course is available packaged with AUR30405 Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology.

Accreditation This program is nationally recognised under the Australian Qualification Framework (AQF).
