  Graduates in this program may have the opportunity to work as a designer, stylist, buyer, retailer, marketer, manufacturer and/or wholesaler within the clothing and fashion industry. The sector caters for men/women/children's apparel across formal, tailored, casual, and bridal market areas. The main business activity focuses on product development, technology, high value-added products, marketing and export activities. Graduates may gain employment working as designers, stylists, pattern makers, CAD operators, production assistants/managers and/or buyers.

  Identifying fibres and fabrics; applying design and studio process; developing product specifications for fashion design; managing the fashion design process; identifying fabric performance and handling requirements; draw a trade drawing for fashion design; develop a fashion range.
