Diploma of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering - Avionics TB2
If you are a self sponsored international student interested in computers and electronics, navigation and communication systems, then the Avionics Diploma course is for you.
This course is designed to meet the academic requirements of the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) for internationally recognised licensing. The course is designed to provide you with the necessary skills for employment with international and domestic airlines and other aviation industry as an aircraft maintenance engineer. During the course you will maintain, inspect and undertake fault diagnosis of aircraft, electrical, electronic, instruments and radio systems.
You will gain skills in analysis, design, planning, execution and evaluation across a range of technical and management functions including development of new criteria, applications, knowledge or procedures. You will be able to demonstrate a command of wide-ranging, highly specialised technical, creative or conceptual skills.

Certificate of Recognition (EASA or CASA) for regulatory authority examination credits

Recognised educational qualification equivalent to Australian Year 12 is recommended, Year 10 equivalency will be considered at Aviation Australia’s discretion with completion of an online proficiency test.
Above average grades in English, Mathematics, Science or Industrial Technology subjects
English Language Requirements
Proficiency in English as determined by the International English Language Testing Services (IELTS)
Minimum standard required by Aviation Australia is an IELTS result with an overall band score of 5.5 and no sub band below 5.0
For students from most countries a lower band score will be considered if the applicant can prove an equivalent level through completion of an Aviation Australia approved ELICOS course
