Design Fundamentals (Certificate III)Provides students with introductory skills and knowledge in art and design. Students learn about art and design through excursions, studio activities and workshops. The students are exposed to training in 3D design, jewellery, graphic arts, certamics, sculpture, fashion and textiles and interior design.

What You'll Learn in Each Course This qualification will provide you with practical skills and knowledge in design and ideas generation. You will learn how to evaluate design solutions and to communicate ideas effectively using design terminology and a wide variety of visual presentation techniques, materials and technologies. You will learn about social and environmental issues relating to design through excursions, studio activities and workshops. Career Outcomes Successful completion of this qualification provides students with the opportunity to become a trainee or junior assistant in design contexts.
