Companion Animal Services (Certificate III)
Program Details
Trains students at the colleges veterinary clinic. The students learn practical skills and knowledge in animal nutrition, animal health care, retail service procedures, customer advice on care of animals, animal handling and transportation of animals. Qualifications Available in this Program (depending on your entry & exit points)

Program Components & Pathway
This program can include multiple courses and different entry and exit points providing students the flexibility to begin at the most suitable stage and continue studying till they reach their desired outcome.
General Entry Requirements and Pre-requisites
Entry into this course requires the equivalent of Australian Year 10 with passes in English, Maths & Science.
Career Outcomes
Successful completion of this qualification provides graduates with the opportunity to become an operator in a companion animal service organisation such as pet shops, kennels, catteries and welfare agencies.
Further Study & University Options
Students can continue on to study the Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or the Certificate III in Racing - Advanced Stablehand.
