Description »
The Diploma of Children’s Services will equip you with comprehensive skills and knowledge to enter the children’s services sector as a Qualified Child Care Worker. The course encompasses health, education and sociological perspectives to prepare students for work in a range of environments.
The Diploma of Children’s services covers caring for children, observing children and interpreting observations, participating in the work environment and responding to illnesses, accidents and emergencies. Diploma of Children’s Services students will be well prepared to enter employment at a senior level in childcare centres and before and after school care. Workers at this level have responsibility for the supervision of other staff and volunteers and in most States.
