Certificate IV in MusicThe Certificate IV in Music is designed for students of Contemporary, Classical and Jazz who wish to develop their skills in performance and widen their musical backgrounds. On completion of the Certificate course, students may audition for other courses within the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA). Course Structure The course comprises one year of full-time study on Mount Lawley Campus. All delivery units are full-year units. The Certificate IV in Music at WAAPA achieves fourteen units of Competence from the Certificate level of the Music Industry Training Package (CUS01). These Units of Competence are clustered within the course delivery units of core studies, concert practice, ensemble skills, musicianship, principal study and projects.
