Certificate IV in Information Technology (Networking)
- Duration: 1.5 Years
- Note: one year of study is equivalent to not less than 36 weeks of instruction.

- Entry Requirements Satisfactory completion of Year 11 (or overseas equivalent) and one year full time equivalent verified work experience in any area. An IELTS score of 5.5 or better.

Module based assessment used such as tests, practicals.
- Expected Employment Outcome Example: Certificate courses in this area equip graduates with knowledge of hardware equipment, software applications used in offices and provide practical business oriented skills. Diploma courses provide in depth training in a wide variety of choices including website development; maintenance and management; design, establishment and management of complex networks; systems administration and analysis; and design and development of applications programs. Skills, knowledge and application to be effective in network management including determining and confirming client business expectations and needs; creating scripts for networking; automate processes; developing and presenting a feasibility report; creating technical documentation; installing network hardware to a network; installing software to networked computers; installing and configuring a network; installing and maintaining a server; monitoring and administering network security; supporting system software; locating equipment, system and software faults; maintaining ethical conduct; and managing simple projects.
