Subject Name: Customer Services and Presentation
This subject involves the study of managing good relationships with customers. This subject will provide knowledge and skills to identify customers’ needs and how to satisfy their needs in an effective way. In this subject you will learn about strategies to promote effective customer relationship, how to communicate effectively with customers, interact with people belonging to different cultural backgrounds, selecting an appropriate communication channel, and how to overcome barriers to communication.

This subject consists of 3 competency units:

This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to manage the ongoing relationship with customers, which includes assisting the customer to articulate their needs, meeting customer needs and managing networks to ensure customer needs are addressed.

BSBCUS403A Implement customer service standards
This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to contribute to quality customer service standards, and to support personnel to implement customer service standards and systems within the organisation.

BSBCMM401A Make a presentation
The unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to prepare, deliver and review a presentation to a target audience.

Subject Name: Financial Accounting
This subject involves study of all aspects of financial records such as trial balance, balance sheet and financial reports.

This subject consists of 3 competency units:

BSBFIA304A Maintain a general ledger
This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to maintain a general ledger within an organisation including processing journal entries and preparing a trial balance.

BSBFIA501A Report on finances related to international business
This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to report on finances related to international business activity.

BSBFIA401A Prepare financial records

The unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to record general journal adjustment entries and to prepare end of period financial periods.

Subject Name: Marketing Promotion and Activities
This subject involves study of all aspects of basic marketing activities. Under this subject you will learn about marketing mix and promotional mix. This subject will enable you to select a marketing mix and promotional mix for a target market. Also it will help you evaluate and review promotional activities.

This subject consists of 2 competency units:

BSBMKG413A Promote products and services
This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to plan, implement and manage basic marketing and promotional activities.

Subject Name: Commercial Law and Workplace Safety
This subject provides knowledge and skills about legal matters related to operating a business. It provides knowledge and skills to maintain a health and safety work environment. Under this subject you will learn about organisation’s commitment towards implementing and monitoring Occupational health and safety programs. It also provides knowledge about preparing documents in forming business enterprises.

This subject consists of 2 competency units:

BSBOHS407A Monitor a safe workplace
This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to implement and monitor the organisation’s occupational health and safety (OHS) policies, procedures and programs in the relevant work area to meet legislative requirements.

BSBLEG407A Provides support in Commercial Law matters
This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to prepare documentation and to assist with commercial law matters such as incorporation, charges and the sale of shelf companies.
