As a Certificate IV qualified Beauty Therapist you will have the skills to coordinate or manage small beauty salons or a section or department within a larger store, providing a range of services and treatments to clients.

Apply knowledge of skin science to beauty therapy treatments
Provide manicure and pedicare services
Communicate in the workplace

Stage 2

Apply knowledge of nutrition to beauty therapy treatments
Sell products and services
Merchandise products
Apply safe working practices
Conduct financial transactions
Advise on beauty services
Apply gel nail enhancements
Apply acrylic nail enhancements
Apply nail art
      
Stage 3

Apply knowledge of cosmetic chemistry to beauty therapy treatments
Apply knowledge of anatomy and physiology to beauty therapy treatments
Provide service to clients
Design and apply make-up
Provide lash and brow treatments
Provide temporary epilation and bleaching treatments
 
Stage 4

Apply knowledge of electricity to beauty therapy treatments
Develop a treatment plan for beauty therapy treatments
Provide facial treatments
Provide advanced facial Treatment
      

Delivery and Assessment

The delivery and assessment of this course complies with the requirements of the Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy WRB40105. Students selecting this course will be required to undertake assessment of acquired skills in both the Institutional setting and simulated working environment.
