His International Wing Chun Academy is one of only five schools outside China to be recognised by the esteemed All China Martial Arts Register. In addition to running casual classes for children, women, and men, it is also the only martial arts school recognised as a tertiary institution by the Australian Government through its Certificate IV Course in Wing Chun Instruction. Grandmaster Jim Fung, who has trained continuously under Great Grandmaster Tsui for more than 40 years, is one of the world\'s top Wing Chun masters.

Certificate III in Sport (Coaching) - (Duration 18 months)

Certificate III in Sport Coaching has been designed to cater for individuals wanting to establish a career as an instructor and a professional in the martial arts industry. This qualification can be achieved on its own (there are prerequisite competencies that will need to be completed first) or after having completed the SRS20303 Certificate II in Sport (Coaching). The graduate will attain an Intermediate (Grade 4) standard in Wing Chun enabling them to teach up to Grade 3 standard.

Core Modules: Communication and Administration, Advanced First Aid Response, Dealing with client needs, expectations and complaints, Advanced use of Computer packages, Apply Sport and Recreation Law, Analyse market patterns in the leisure and recreation industry and Risk Analysis.
Coaching Stream: Accepted coaching practices and legal responsibilities, include special interest groups and people with special needs, Sports Psychology, nutrition, Apply rules and regulations to conduct games and competitions, Sports First Aid, Plan, organise and conduct sport and recreation programs, Deal with Conflict.
Martial Arts Specialisation: Teach intermediate skills of kung fu.
Elective: Customise coaching to include children, mature aged athletes and athletes with disabilities, Knowledge of weapons legislation and community safety, the safe use and instruction of padded weapons, the safe use and instruction of wooden or blunt weapons, the safe use and instruction of steel/live edged weapons. Other electives derived from the Certificates III and IV in Fitness.
