Certificate III in Carpentry
Students will learn to carry out setting out, construct wall frames, ceiling frames, pitched roofs, eaves, external stairs, flooring systems, install windows and doors. Career Opportunities: Carpenter. Mode Of Study: Full Time Duration: This program takes 12 months (52 weeks) to complete. Entry Requirements IELTS 5.5 (Academic) or equivalent. Minimum 18 years of age. Completion of year 12 or equivalent. Assessment Methods: Emphasis is placed on combining off-the-job training with on-the-job applications. Assessment can be carried out in simulated work environment, on-the-job or in the workplace or by negotiated project work. Vocational Placement This program includes 30 days (240 hours) of unpaid vocational placement.
This course is available packaged with CPC50208 Diploma of Building and Construction. Additional Materials Students will need to purchase suitable clothing, tools and safety equipment upon commencement of the course. Recognition of Prior Learning Careers Australia gives students the recognition they deserve, for skills and knowledge that they already possess. Accreditation This program is nationally recognised under the Australian Qualification Framework (AQF).
