Certificate III in Bricklaying / Blocklaying

The Certificate III in Bricklaying / Blocklaying program provides students with the knowledge and skills that are required to lay bricks, pre  –cut stone, concrete blocks and other types of building blocks in mortar to construct and repair walls, foundations, partitions, arches and other structures.

Mode Of Study: Full Time 

Duration: This program takes 12 months (52 weeks) to complete.
 
Entry Requirements IELTS 5.5 (Academic) or equivalent.
Minimum 18 years of age.
Completion of year 12 or equivalent.
 
Assessment Methods Emphasis is placed on combining off-the-job training with on-the-job applications. Assessment can be carried out in simulated work environment, on-the-job or in the workplace or by negotiated project work.
 
Vocational Placement This program includes 30 days (240 hours) of unpaid vocational placement.
 
This course is available packaged with CPC50208 Diploma of Building and Construction.
